But that’s a completely different subject. WE are practicing to have a baby but sometimes for the fortunate ones, they get pregnant. Your life is going to change but you don't have to change your sex life completely. (You just have to put your Glass Toy Box stash away for a little while.)

If the pregnancy is normal, there is no way that you can hurt your baby. In the early stages, your embryo is firmly implanted in the menstrual lining of the uterus. Normal intercourse is safe and harmless. For the first three months, doctors recommend "normal" sex – the hot animal sex should be on hold. If you have a history of miscarriage, also called spontaneous accidental abortion, or if there is any "spotting", or bleeding, then you should abstain from sexual intercourse or orgasm for the first three months. However, this doesn't mean you cannot pleasure your partner.

After three months in a higher risk pregnancy, you can have subdued sex until the last three months then no sex, because an orgasm with uterine contractions might trigger premature labor.
